Currently FAR has implemented a system of integrated management including the Certifcation of Health and Safety Management System according to the ISO 45001 standard. 1 DEAERATORS DEAERATORS The FAR deaerator is installed in cooling and heating systems to remove air bubbles from the circulating water.
Air inside the system can cause corrosion in the interior of the pipe and damage to installed components (such as pumps), leading to malfunctions, loss of heat exchange e ! ciency and noise in the system. The structure of the " lter cartridge slows the air bubbles and causes a decrease in their kinetic energy so that the air rises to the top. To further divert the # ow, vertical bars on the cartridge have wings that help to drive air bubbles upwards.
The ideal deaerator position in the heating system is on the supply pipe just after the boiler, where the # ow temperature is high. This is because, as the water is heated in the boiler there is a possibility of bubbles being formed, causing damage to components or malfunctioning. It is recommended that the deaerator is installed between two shut-o $ valves to allow for maintenance.
1 DIRT SEPARATORS
DIRT SEPARATORS The FAR dirt separator is installed in cooling and heating systems to ! lter out any impurities in the water supply. Any impurities (such as rust or welding debris) drop down into an appropriate seating where, once settled, they can no longer return to the system. As illustrated, the use of vertical bars aligned to the direction of the " uid maximizes the surface area for contact with particles of dirt suspended in the " uid, while wings create turbolence to slow the " ow rate and facilitate separation of impurities. The dirt separator with magnetic inserts allows the separator to catch iron particles in older systems or in systems with high dirt concentration. 360° The swiveling deaerator can be installed on the pipeline in either vertical or horizontal position, as the part with threaded connections can rotate 360° arounds its own axis.
